Join us in our garden for a sensory journey into the fascinating world of medicinal plants,
Bach flowers and herbal remedies!
You are interested in herbalism and Bach flowers, and would love to meet and connect with vibrant, living medicinal plants?
You would like to start your own medicinal garden and learn more about how to grow medicinal plants?
You are already cultivating some herbs and want to go further — discover new medicinal species, deepen your knowledge of their properties, or learn more about their transformation processes?
Or maybe you would simply like to meet us in person and discover the garden behind your favorite herbal remedies?
All of this is possible on our Medicinal Garden Tour!
Practical information
The tour takes place in Blooming Life's garden, in Póvoa de Midões.
Guided by Marie and Gábor, it will last max. 3 hours.
2 to 4 persons : 25€/person
5 to 8 persons : 20€/person
We invite you to book at least 48h in advance.
Healthy snack and fresh drink included at the end of the tour.
Herbal remedies prepared by Marie with the plants from the garden will be available for purchase.
What will we do ?
The tour usually takes around 2h30 to 3h.
During that time, we will take you for a walk through our garden, and together we will explore the wild medicinal plants growing on the land, the ones we cultivate, and our Bach flowers.
Our farm is home to over 70 different species of medicinal plants and about 20 different Bach flowers!
Then, we will spend some time in our herbalist kitchen. We will show you the tools we use for making remedies (tinctures, balms, Bach flowers…), the herbal preparations currently in progress, and how we store our finished plant-based products.
To conclude the tour, a delicious healthy snack and a fresh drink will be waiting for us in the shade of the olive and apricot trees. We will then have the time to continue to talk a little bit longer, which will give you the possibility to ask additional questions if you have some.
And herbal remedies prepared by Marie with the plants from the garden will be available for purchase.

About Marie
Marie is an herbalist, a registered Bach flowers practitioner and a Reiki Master. She also has a Bachelor degree in Psychology.
Passionate by the holistic approach of health, she is dedicated to caring for others as whole beings. Deeply in love with plants and flowers, she believes that our connexion to Nature is an essential key for us to heal and bloom.
Marie gives various workshops, leads guided medicinal garden and Bach flowers garden tours and holds 1-1 sessions.
About Gábor
Gábor is a certified Peter Hess Sound Therapist and a Reiki Master, but he also plays a key role in our medicinal garden.
Deeply in love with nature, he spent many years working exclusively with plants and trees, gardens and forests. He now has over 10 years of professional experience in forest management and growing vegetables and medicinal plants, combining techniques from permaculture, bio intensive farming and food forestry.
